PRESIDENTS WEEKEND JUNIOR RESULTS
Possibly all of the Juniors should have
received a prize as they not only had to play from the white
markers, which is not much of a challenge for some of the
Holme Hall juniors, but also had to suffer the very worst of
the weather with play having to be suspended for over an
hour and a half; in true junior spirit the juniors went out
again in the pouring rain to finish their rounds.
In first place Josh Raspin, pictured below right, shot a
tremendous 38 points beating Shaun McCain into second place.
Shaun was only two points back with 36 points.

Even Holme Hall’s pre – juniors got into the act and,
playing in three groups, they displayed the putting,
pitching and chipping skills that they have practised
throughout the year. In the under 8s’ division William
Saville scored 70 points, James Smalley scored 60 points and
Christopher Stones scored 50 points.
In the under 10s’ Josh Goodyear scored 140 points, Reece
Goodyear scored 110 points and Georgina Baker scored 90
points and also won the putting competition.
Last but not least the under 14s’ played their event on
the main course again in horrendous weather. Ian Slowey won
with 13 points, Leenhert Slowey was second with 12 points,
Josh Scott was third with 9 points and Jamie Kemp came
fourth with 8 points.
